Frans Madibeng & Jacques Bezuidenhout

Tired, given there very best for their team, these 2 youngsters played their harts out for the Blue Bulls Tuks Rugby Academy sevens team Lusaka 2011.

We lost in the semi-final against Kenia invitational. I am so proud of the boys they showed character and hart and gave their 100% at all times.

Blue Bulls Tuks Rugby 7's - Lusaka 2011

The Blue Bulls Tuks Rugby Academy 7's team competing in the Lusaka castle sevens with 5 international teams and several other teams competing.

The team started of very slow and lost their 1st game but how they recovered in the next game was nice to see their urgency and guts and they demolished a Zim Side and really played well.

They play the last pool game and must win to qualify for the cup quarter finals, keep you posted

Fantastic performance

I hope you noticed that no 7 playing for the Blue Bulls Currie Cup side that destroyed the" Griekwas"

Yes you guest correct, it was Warwick Tecklenberg who played fantastic in the loose trio combination who gelled nicely as a unit. The work rate of this ex Blue Bulls Tuks Rugby Academy player was world class and he's performance reminded me the first year he played for Tuks 1st side when he got man of the match 3 games in a row.

Warwick had to endure a tough road because of serious injury that almost sank he's promising career. He was out for 2 years with freak injuries but he celebrated he's comeback with a man of the tournament Varsity Cup performance(suppose to get it, but didn't) every time he played for Tuks.

Well done Warwick you are a inspiration to all youngsters. You set a standard at the Academy alongside Torsten v Jaarsveld who is representing the Pumas that will be followed for years to come. Stay humble as you are and remember what you asked years back to happen, and did it happen???

We are proud of you!!!
